      April 30, 2025 - Toolbox version 3.0.35

      UI Updates:

      • Repositioned the Company Brief to load based on Stock at a Glance instead of Upcoming Events. This forces the page to load at the top for those using smaller monitors
      • Update the Guru's table data alignment
      • Fixed an issue that cut off the last row text for some monitor and screen resolution sizes by changing the default 'padding' on our table and chart components.

      Charts

      • Added functionality to allow indicator templates to be saved.

      Scan For Stocks

      • Fixed a problem that sometimes caused the scan to fail when searching for Debt to Earnings ratio data

      March 31, 2025 -Toolbox version 3.0.34

      Data Loading

      • Added 800+ companies, primarily on the TSX to the universe of Stocks available for searching
      • Worked with Data providers to resolve an error causing missing Q4 2024 Guru data
      • Worked with Data providers to resolve an error causing missing Insider Transactions
      • Fixed a bug resulting in TTM Cash Flow Statement data to not always get processed
      • Fixed an issue that resulted in missing historical Market Cap data

      October 31, 2023 - Toolbox version 3.0.15

      Data loading

      • Updated logic to maintain the TTM default valuation of all companies when they release new financials
      • Resolved an issue that occasionally resulted in Financials and/or Key Metrics to not properly load
      • Resolved an error causing only partial TTM data to display

      Account Management

      • Fixed the process allowing users to change their email addresses

      • Redesigned the column labels to display across 3 rows for better visibility when many columns are selected

      Valuation Calculator

      • Updated the UI to transform null input values to a value of 0 so that the 'Calculate' and 'Save Valuations' buttons would always be accessible
      • Added a toast the Company Valuations page that will appear if the Analyst or Historic Future Growth Rate is greater than 20%

      Financials

      • Added a TTM column to the Annual View
      • Drastically sped up the page load times for Annual and Quarterly views
      • Added some rare missing data points to the Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Balance sheet so they properly display when they are present
      • Fixed an issue in the balance sheet that incorrectly labeled Total Equity as the value representing Total Equity + Liabilities
      • Changed the order of the values listed inside the Investing Cash Flow section of the Cash Flow Statement

      September 30, 2023 - Toolbox version 3.0.14

      Data loading

      • Resolved an issue that caused a loss of data if a company changed symbols or was re-listed on a different exchange
      • Resolved a data loading issue where some Quarterly financials were not correctly captured and updated in the database

      Scan For Stocks

      • Updated the Industry Filters so Sector, Industry Group and Industry drop down menus are accessible at any time
      • Fixed an error causing the Dividend Yield and Dividend Growth filters to not return any results
      • Updated the Phil's Guru group of filters to return correct values matching a companies Company Brief

      Company Brief

      • Updated Rule One Scores section table to display Red cells for years with no CAGR due to negative historical (lag) year values
      • Resolved an issue causing Free Cash Flow Ratio to show up as 0 for some companies in the Stock At a Glance table

      Financials

      • Resolved a data loading issue that resulted in certain data to not display in the UI across different time periods
      • Changed the logic used to populate the Column Headers so that the periods would consistently be 1 year different for annual data or 3 months different for quarterly data

      Key Metrics

      • Updated the Formula for ROE as Net Income / Stockholder Equity
      • Updated the Formula for ROIC as Net Income / (Stockholder Equity + Long Term Debt)
      • Resolve an issue where many companies listed a Dividend Yield = 0 due to bad Source Data via a 'work around.'
      • Resolved an Issue where an empty January column would appear first for some companies

      Education

      • Extended the visibility of recordings for +1 day to account for time zone conflicts

      Valuations

      • Updated the source of the Analyst Estimated Future Growth Rate value to use a new vendor with a more robust dataset
      • Updated the source of the Historic Earnings Growth rate value to come from the 10 Year CAGR's as seen in the MOAT table on the Company Brief
      • Updated the Default Valuation Calculations for all companies to automatically use current TTM financials
      • Updated the High PE Ratio to match the values from Morning Star as referenced on the Key Metrics page
      • Added logic to use a max FGR of 20% if the Analyst or Historic FGR exceeds this value

      • Fixed an issue with Watchlist Upcoming Events Calendar so it will properly show the correct companies based on the current watchlist

      August 1, 2023 - Toolbox version 3.0.12

      Company Brief

      • Fixed an issue with Watchlist Upcoming Events Calendar and Company Brief Upcoming Events Calendars so they now show the correct companies
      • Resolved an issue where some values in Stock At a Glance didn't always match the latest values in Key Metrics

      Key Metrics/Financials

      • Fixed an issue that caused some values to display as 0 or not display at all in the UI
      • Fixed the logic that calculated Percent Change to return correct results
      • Temporarily removed TTM view to comply with the data we are given by Morningstar - New TTM View coming soon

      Gurus

      • Guy Spier changed the registration of his 13F and we combined the old fund data with new fund data to show the correct history of his transactions

      July 1, 2023 - Toolbox version 3.0.11

      Data Loading/Database updates

      • Completed the redesign of the Financials and Key Metrics Data loading procedure from a new data source to resolve the discrepancies in missing financial records and delayed availability of new financials
      • Redirected the UI to source the new Financials and Key Metrics Data
      • Completely redesigned the Guru's Data loading procedure and redirected the UI to map to this new data source
      • Separated the Users database to a separate server for enhanced security and privacy reasons. Users data is stored on a separate server from the Equities data

       

      March 31, 2023 - Toolbox version 3.0.10

      Scan For Stocks

      • Resolved a bug with loading saved scans so that the UI always displays results instead of remaining blank
      • Resolved an issue where the ROIC filter would not return results when paired with some other filters.

      Company Brief

      • Remapped the Buy Price in the Company Header to source the correct value in the database.

      Financials

      • Improved the data loading process to add page load efficiency
      • Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Balance sheet have updated the order and values displayed in their results
      • Negative values now displayed in red text
      • Important rows now displayed as bold text
      • Financial Statement rows are now indented to improve financial statement readability. This shows the level of individual values and how they are grouped to the various sections of their respective statement.

      March 15, 2023 - Toolbox version 3.0.09

      Database

      • Updated the Company Valuations so that the resulting valuations match those generated in the Valuation Calculator page
      • Updated logic used to populate some key metrics with data so that the calculated values don't generate until all financial statement data has been loaded into the database.
      • Added logic to Valuations so that a negative Future Growth Rate or Negative Earnings Per Share would produce a $0 buy price.

      Company Brief

      • Overhauled the Lightweight Chart component: included a line for Buy Price, removed zoom functionality, improved loading performance, and correct time and price values based on the interval selecting

      February 15, 2023 - Toolbox version 3.0.08

      • Successfully updated the server side and removed all communication related communication
      • Fixed an issue that would generate a subscription invoice when updating billing information in Account Management

      • Updated the Margin Of Safety Calcualtion to produce a $0 buy price for companies with Negative EPS, Negative Future PE's and Negative Future Growth Rates.
      • Fixed a runtime error causing Annual High and Annual Low share prices from being updated correctly.

      Key Metrics

      • Added logic so that in cases where our data provider has missing periods of Key Metric data, those missing periods will still show up in the column header but the remainder of the column will be displayed without data

      Scan For Stocks

      • Fixed an Issue with the ROP and ROC filters that allowed results outside of the 20% range to be returned
      • Fixed an issue where some Performance Metrics Filters wouldn't return results when paired with other filters

      Financials

      • Fixed an issue that caused the balance sheet of banking companies to not paint in the UI

      January 31, 2023 - Toolbox version 3.0.07

      • Processed a number of changes that will allow toolbox admin to communicate with users about upcoming maintenance and redirect active sessions to a maintenance page during an upcoming maintenance period
      • Banner Alerts are now coloured Yellow if they are critically important

      • Improved the logic for populating results of many filters to control for errors related to missing data
      • Updated the logic related to debt ratios filters so that a null value of a given debt ratio is not returned as 0 in the results
      • Resolved a bug that allowed companies paying $0.00/share TTM Dividends from being returned as a result in the Dividend filter
      • Resolved a bug that populated companies with a share price of less than $0/share from being returned as a result in the Closing Price filter

      • Resolved a bug that caused the Symbol FLWS to not load the Company Brief page

      Financials

      • Added logic so that in cases where our data provider has missing periods of financial data, those missing periods will still show up in the column header but the remainder of the column will be displayed without data

      • Negative EPSTTM and/or Future PE now populate a $0.00 MOS and PBT Buy Price

      • Fixed an error where all Compensation Tables were displayed showing 2016 - 2020 and not the current FY pf the company

      Valuation Calculator

      • Removed rounding in the 10 Cap Price on the Valuation Calculator page so results are now displayed to the penny.
      • 10 Cap Price uses Ordinary Shares at the End of Last Period and TTM values for all other inputs by default across the entire application
      • Updated database calculations so PBT, MOS, and 10Cap prices will match the Valuation Calculator page to a few pennies (due to rounding)

      Financials

      • Improved Financials page loading performance by predetermining the number of reporting periods of financials that the UI will need to load

      Education

      • Updated the Option Kelly Workbook to 2023 V2
      • Links now appear formatted as a Link with underlined text

      Account Management

      • Removed the ability to change First and Last Name

      January 01, 2023 - Toolbox version 3.00.05

      • Method created to scan for missing company financial data

      • ROC Zone filter results are returned without error.

      Database:

      • Prior day closing price and percent change updated to reflect prior trading day instead of including weekends
